Taco Night

I've mentioned previously that, whether worn or edible, wraps are my go-to comforts.  After the week we've endured, this tortilla wrapped around grilled salmon and Asian slaw did the trick.

Asian Slaw
Serves 4

Salad:
1/2 head Napa cabbage
1/2 red pepper
1/2 white onion
6 green onions
3 radishes
1 Poblano pepper
1 Anaheim pepper
1 red chili pepper
1 jalapeno pepper
Big bunch of cilantro

Dressing:
Juice from half a lime
Juice from half an orange
Tablespoon honey
Tablespoon sesame oil
A glug of white rice vinegar
A glug of soy sauce
Ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper to taste
Olive oil

Process or shred vegetables; toss with whisked dressing.

I'm having a downer of week too. I wonder if you've got a recipe for some chicken noodle soup...or failing that, which canned soup should I buy?

hi frimp. Watch this blog in the next week as I will be posting a special "feed your family of 4 for $10" series. Chicken noodle soup will be included. As for canned - please don't judge... but when it comes to soup and pizza if I cannot have the best (homemade) I like the cheapest of the cheap. Something about the tinny flavor of Campbell's Homestyle (or that Mrs. Grass boxed mix!) that brings me back to childhood.
