Food Blogger Farmers Market Exchange

I mentioned a while back that I participated in two food blogger exchanges this summer. Siri, a St. Paulite who now lives in Norway, organized the farmers market swap.  I exchanged items with the redhead (http://handcraftedwithaltitude.wordpress.com/), and the goodies in the photo above came from Boulder Colorado where she resides (not included in photo: guacamole and chicken-jalapeno sausage).  I am really excited to dig into the stunning and unique preserves canned by the redhead, but first we sampled the blackberry ginger balsamic vinegar. It was fantastic over a watermelon, cucumber, and tomato salad (tossed also with hot chili peppers, basil, chives, and herb-chevre).
