Focaccia

We spent another Sunday indoors occasionally peeking outdoors to calculate the snowfall, catching up on television, napping, and puttering in the kitchen. Just as Mother Nature intended.

A pot of spaghetti sauce with meatballs slowly simmered, filling the house with good smells and hunger. I added shredded Parmesan to a yeasty dough that became a flatbread covered with olive oil, rosemary and thyme, olive tampanade, pinenuts, and coarse salt. Red wine, pasta, bread. Just as Mother Nature intended.
