The Little Cookie That Could

Me and my cookie. We've been together for a few years. I've written about her in her many forms, and bragged about her to anyone who would listen. I knew she was meant for greater things. Now, declared the Holiday Cookie Winner in the StarTribune, she is practically a celebrity.

And two years in a row a Swedish cookie makes it big (last year's winner was a Swedish macaroon)! This Nordic thing is finally catching on!

The StarTribune made Hovdessert even prettier than I thought she could be (see photo below). T saw the photos and said, "That doesn't look like your cookie." It is good to stay humble. As if this cookie coup d'état weren't enough, over at Called to the Table today there is even more cookie talk. Eggnog Balls anyone?
