Thanksgiving Day is Finally Here!

This year I've been thinking a lot about the non-traditional foods some families add to their Thanksgiving tables. My friend J from Miami looks forward to his sister's Cuban Pastelitos. My friend K and her brother serve their grandmother's Polish goulash. That dish has become even more important this year as their mother passed away over the summer. When I spent time overseas every holiday meal included something from our collective heritages. I wrote about those feasts and my contribution (Swedish Meatballs Stroganoff) this week in Called to the Table.
