Lefse Party

Our annual lefse-making party was, thankfully, not canceled this year due to Snowmegeddon or Icemegeddon or any other Weathergeddons. In fact, so many workers showed up to ball-roll-lift-griddle-stack that we set up work stations throughout the house. Over the years each worker has found their lefse-making niche. This year our new guests fit right in, hustling to fill in wherever they were needed.

As always, we snacked throughout the afternoon to keep our strength up. The goodies were particularly tasty. Crab and shrimp dip, Oreo truffles, and the most amazing artichoke dip ever (K tops the dip with challah bread crumbs browned in butter).

Truth be told, I am not a good lefse-worker. As the resident Swede, my role is more cheerleader and manager. And to reward the workers when their tasks are complete, I make as many lefse pizzas as they can consume.
