Cranberry Sidecar
It must be the holidays when I start posting more than one cocktail recipe each week. This one made use of leftover cranberries (I was chosen to provide the relish tray at our family Thanksgiving this year). A simple syrup of cranberries, water, and sugar replaced the lime or lemon component of this classic drink.
Cranberry Sidecar
1 jigger of cognac
1/2 jigger orange liqueur (such as Cointreau, Grand Marnier, or triple sec)
1/2 jigger simple cranberry syrup
Shake with plenty of ice, strain into glass. Garnish with cranberries or orange slices.
