An Example of the Stuff I'm Gonna Read Now

Two wonderful events took place this summer.  First, I finished my masters thesis.  Second, after more than a year's absence and an impressive expansion, our city library reopened.  Our shelves at home are groaning from the weight of books I purchased over these past few years with the intention of reading once I completed grad school, and my library account is filled with a long and titillating list of good trashy stuff I cannot wait to get my eyes on.  Ah the joys of literary vacation (a.k.a. a vacation from weighty literature)!
