Warmth
When I was a kid and we'd drive through the city my mother would always point out the kids walking in the winter without mittens and hats. "Oh, that poor child!" She'd cry, "No mittens on such a cold day." Her compassion guided much of my own charitable thoughts and actions.
Today she continues her crusade to warm those who haven't got proper winter accessories. With some odds and ends yarn she knitted some super cute hats and will distribute them at a local shelter. So if you see some fashionable folks next snowfall, they may be the recipients of her handiwork.
