Ode to radish

Radishes have intrigued me since I was a kid. So much so that last year I pitched a radish cookbook that held more than 100 radish recipes. The book was rejected, but I continue to dance to the melody of my favorite root vegetable. Today at the Star Tribune is an excerpt from that book pitch and a few recipes that grace my table from time to time.
