Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Quick Bread
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
Butter and flour loaf pan; preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine dry ingredients. In separate bowl whisk together buttermilk,
eggs, and butter. Stir wet mixture into dry ingredients until lumpy
batter forms. Spread in prepared pan. Bake until inserted wooden skewer
comes out clean; about 50 minutes.
